As I am not sure how one goes about "digging" a manwhore, "manhole" seems more likely. Oh, and I may have been wrong when I said the term "manwhore" was in the lyrics (which is a bit of a shame, really.I was kinda looking forward to it). But if you don't know what uke and seme refer to.eh, look it up at your own peril. I have a friend who writes yaoi fanfiction, so I am vaguely familiar with these terms (much to my chagrin). I, uh, left some terms alone for the translation. So starting around the line including "Rodeogirl Play" and "Let's Grind!!!," I started to lose it with this translation. There are a couple lines in here where Laito repeats the phrase "aishite" several times with different "spellings" (for lack of a better term) in kanji. Since the "KAN" was repeated, and I didn't get to use it earlier when it seemed more likely, I implemented "can-can" here~ The Japanese term, "SUKKARAKAN," refers to something completely used up or exhausted. In the same verse, there is a play on words towards the end. But I do like the fact that if you say it fast enough, it sounds like the English word "noble"~ Similarly, the line "nou BURU chatte" took me awhile to puzzle out. I tried my best to incorporate it, but I really don't know. I don't get the use of Buddha in the second verse. More likely, it's the onomatopoeia for a clanging sound, like a bell or a fire alarm. Ironically, the instance where the English (or maybe French?) word "CanCan" is used, based on context, does not actually refer to the dance. The English word "PRAY" is used, but the kanji it replaces refers to an act or performance. The main instance that caught my attention is in the fourth line of the first verse. So, as is to be expected and forgiven, there were spelling errors of some of the English words in the kanji lyrics. Especially after translating Hirakawa Daisuke as Ryugazaki Rei from "Free!".
Despite the fact I COMPLETELY EXPECTED this kinda thing from Laito.yeah, the translating this song pretty much broke my brain. Actually, it begins with something that sounds extraordinarily similar to the infamous shower scene.but enough about that. Oh my gee, where do I even start with this one. Volume 3 of the Diabolik Lovers character songs finished out the triplets with Laito. Silvermoon249 WARNING!!! This post is rated (at least) PG-13 for language and suggestive themes!
